ABOUT THE LEARNERSHIP PROVIDER – MEGCHEM
MegChem is an engineering and projects company that applies engineering resources optimally to translate client needs into process plant that meets agreed objectives. MegChem operates in various industries, including: the oil, gas, power generation, petrochemical and related industries.

ABOUT THE MEGCHEM LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME
Megchem is inviting candidates to apply for their 1 year learnership programme, in Computer Aided Drawing Office Practice (NQF4), starting in 2024. The Learnership will take place at the MegChem Head Office, in Secunda, Mpumalanga.
The goal of the learnership is to equip future draftspersons with the proficiency and understanding of the drawing office environment.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MEGCHEM LEARNERSHIP
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
- You must be between 19 and 25 years old
- You must have completed Matric or N3
- You must have achieved a minimum result of 50% for Mathematics in Matric/ N3 (students who completed Mathematical Literacy will NOT be accepted)
- You must have achieved a minimum result of 50% for Engineering & Graphics Design (EGD) in Matric/ N3
- Advantageous: completed Physical Science as a subject in Matric/ N3
- You must be able to attend the full learnership programme in Secunda, Mpumalanga
- You must be available to start the programme in January 2024
- Preference will be given to learners from previously disadvantaged backgrounds
