ABOUT THE COMPANY – MTN

The company is headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa, but operates across throughout the African continent, as well as in the Middle East, Europe and Asia. In total, MTN operates in 22 countries across the globe.
MTN provides voice and data solutions, digital services, e-commerce services, data bundles, contracts and top-up airtime to its over 30 million customers. The company serves personal and business customers alike, and is known for sponsoring a range of rugby, football, lifestyle and music events.

- Internal Accounting
- Business Risk Management
- Human Resources
- Marketing
- Light Current Engineering
- Computer Applications
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science
- Software Development
- Information Systems
- Technology
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
- South African citizen
- Completed Matric
- Studying or intend on studying within one of the aforementioned fields of study
- Studying or intend on studying at a recognised South African tertiary institute
- Good academic record
- *Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged students
HOW TO APPLY FOR THE BURSARY
Students who meet the eligibility requirements can apply by submitting clear copies of the following supporting documentation (the submission of these documents is compulsory – if any items are missing, your application be disregarded):
- ID document (certified copy)
- Matric certificate (certified copy)
- Full tertiary academic record (on tertiary institution letterhead)
- Latest academic transcripts (certified copies)
- Proof of enrollment in one of the aforementioned fields of study
- Proof of household income (latest payslips/ affidavit if unemployed/ pension statement if on state pension)
- Full Curriculum Vitae
- Motivational letter explaining where you see yourself in the future and how this bursary will help you achieve your dreams
